24 Images Our task here was to replace an old decayed fence down one side of the garden with a new tanalized and pressure treated norlap fence, and to take up an aged patio area and lay down a new three-size patio to match up with one that had already been established in another part of the garden. Finally, older stepping stones were removed from the lawn, the undulations in the grass were corrected and the patchy areas treated to regenerate the lawn. [...] |

8 Images This somewhat disorderly garden was transformed, given a fresh look, and made easy to maintain with shingle and a simple design. The garden was cleared of all refuse and the existing grass area was removed. The ground was leveled and weed-suppressing membrane laid down. 12 Images This gallery shows a 'problem' front garden, which was overrun and hard to maintain. The design was to rejuvenate it with play grade bark, tree trunk stepping stones and a trellis archway. We began by clearing and leveling the garden completely, starting again with a blank canvas. Membrane was laid, and new plants were put in, and the ground was covered with Greenfingers Play Bark. 30 Images Work on rejuvenating this garden began by removing the old flower beds and steps, and knocking down an existing wall. Then a very attractive Cotswold Riven patio was laid, and the slope of the original patio was corrected. New flower beds were built with random drystone wall blocks with coping top stones and a small feature was created to blend with the existing border and garden. The result is a gorgeous new patio and a transformed garden. [...] |

A concrete base was prepared to accommodate a shed and a fetching feather-edged fence erected. A new pathway was laid at the side of the property and a gateway to the rear garden built. 9 Images On this project old paving slabs and a concrete trellis were removed and replaced with new turf to give the garden a new lease of life. Concrete posts had to be demolished and extracted. The patterned paving slabs were taken up and a 4 inch thick concrete base was broken up and removed. The ground was leveled and compacted with Greenfingers Top Soil and new turf was laid. 11 Images Here the customer wished to replace the unkempt lawn with something low maintenance and cost effective, and for a new patio adjacent to the house. Firstly, a weed-suppressing membrane was laid down to cover the original ground. Then 10mm shingle was put down and spread. For the new patio 40mm of scalpings were set as a sub-base, and 1.5ft square buff coloured Riven slabs were laid. Matching Riven stepping stones create a pathway to the customers gate. [...] |
