| Kills slugs and nothing else. Slugs come in many shapes and sizes and are commonplace around the garden, particularly in damp conditions. Infestations are less serious in dry weather but tend to become a problem during prolonged rainy weather. An individual grey field slug has the potential to produce 90,000 grandchildren and has approximately 27,000 teeth! They live underground during the day, emerging at night to feed. One cubic metre of garden will on average contain up to 200 slugs. | ![]() |
| Slugs eat leaves, stems and roots of plants, weakening them and often causing them to die. They leave slimy trails over plants and soil, and are particularly devastating to seedlings and cuttings. Slugs leave their own individual scent trails so they can find their way home. | ![]() |
Greenfingers slug killer can be used all year round under glass/indoors, and outdoors from early spring (late February to early March dependant on area & temperature) through to late November. Stays active in the soil for up to 6 weeks from the time of application. At the time of application soil temperatures should be a minimum of 5°C (40°F).
|
| Kills Vine Weevil Larvae. Vine Weevils are black beetles about 8mm long with the front part narrower than the back. Eggs are laid near the plant stems from which hatch 8-12mm long, white, horseshoe shaped grubs which stay in the ground between August and early June before hatching into adults. | ![]() |
| The adult feeds at night on leaves, making unsightly notches around the edges, hiding during the day. It is the grubs which cause most damage, by feeding on the plant roots over Winter, often completely severing them from the upper stems. | ![]() |
Instructions for use: Apply March to May and August to late November outdoors. Use late winter and autumn indoors/under heated glass. At the time of application soil temperatures should be a minimum of 5°C (40°F).

Chafer Bug larvae can cause devastating damage to lawns. Chafer Grub larvae are white grubs with a brown head, not unlike Vine Weevil grubs but with distinct pairs of legs at the front end.
The Chafer Grubs are 2cm beetles which hatch into flying adults in mid-May. Chafer Grub adults lay eggs in June which turn into more Chafer Grubs in July to eat grass roots until October. Then Chafer Grubs dig deeper into the soil over winter until May before Chafer Grub surface to fly, mate and lay eggs again. |

| Adults Chafer do little damage, but the grubs eat avidly during July to October, severing the grass from its roots leaving tufts and patches which turn brown in the hot weather, generally in August/September. | ![]() |
Instructions for use: Apply during August to September when the young grub larvae are active.
|
| Another lawn pest, these larvae of Crane fly or "Daddy Long Legs" are grey-brown cigar-shaped grubs which develop under the grass in late August/September. They overwinter there until they stop feeding in mid-May to pupate, emerging as the leggy adults we know in August. | ![]() |
| From August until mid-May they are eating the roots of your lawn, resulting in brown tufty patches, resembling Chafer damage, but looking its worst in March/April. Small infestations are not troublesome, but more than 20-25 grubs per sq.ft. becomes a problem. | ![]() |
Instructions for use: Apply at the end of August through to October (approximately) or after you have seen the first adult Crane Fly around the above times. They will then start laying their eggs within a few days, aim to apply approximately one week after seeing the adults.

| Ant nematodes - Ants nests in lawns and borders can be a real problem!! Tackle them by watering our No Ants ant nematodes directly into the nests. No Ants controls ants of all colours (including red ones) in lawns and borders. It comes as a harmless powder and is totally safe for children, pets and wildlife and the lawn can be used directly after use. No Ants should be applied when the soil temp is 10c and ants are present i.e. anytime between April - Sept.
Nematodes are natural organisms, already present in our soil. They are not pests but prey on garden pests giving us NATURAL garden pest controls, that are environmentally friendly. |

Instructions for use: No Ants - Simply mix the powder with water and pour directly into the nests using a watering can. We recommend pre-watering the nests to allow the nematodes to soak in. The packet will keep unopened for up to 2 weeks in a fridge and should be used in one go once opened. As our No Ants is a cure rather than a preventative measure, apply the nematodes when the ants are present. Simply repeat as often as is needed to keep the area free of ants - it is impossible to overdose and it is totally safe to use near food crops.
